While California-born author Joan Didion may be known first and foremost for her literary genius, her sartorial sense is equally as worthy of our attention. Aside from a two-year stint at Vogue in the early '60s, Didion has never been an outright player in the industry; after meeting her future husband while at the magazine, she would return to California for almost twenty years. Didion possesses an uncannily straightforward sense of style, and it goes without saying that we could all use a tip or two from Joan while getting dressed in the morning.
